How Does May Court Organize all This?
Our executive is made up of May Court members. We have no paid positions anywhere in our organization. “Convenors” head the many committees that are needed to keep all our projects running smoothly.
Yes indeed! The social aspects of May Court are organized under our “Special Projects”. Each year members decide if they wish to continue with a certain social project and if they would like to introduce a new one. Some things like our Marathon Bridge, Mixed Bridge, Fall Luncheon and Fashion Show and Christmas Social are perennial favourites. They are great fun.
What About Donations?
Although May Court does not actively solicit donations, our shop works on a consignment basis but clothing and small household items are often donated. We welcome donations from our members and from the community.
